Jeremy Potts

Hi,

I am Jeremy Potts, a double graduate from Tennessee Tech in computer science with a concentration in cyber security. My Master’s Thesis/research is focused in smartmanufacturing security, specifically cyber-physical data fusion and it’s effects on itrusion detection systems.

I am currently working at Tech in the Cyber security Education, Research, and Outreach Center (CEROC) where our mission is to provide better education and research opporunities for current students as well as create more pipelines into cyber for future students. My role in the center is very unique, when I started in 2021 I was just a teir 1 technologist working with the teir 2 to manage and develop our cyberrange. As myself and the center have grown I have taken on a lot more work in a lot of different areas. I now work in all aspect of the center in some way, helping with research, outreach activites, classes/labs, center operation, etc. 

Based on my CyberGenIQ results, I am a mild all-rounder but more suited for Offensive and Defensive Operations. I think that these result really showcase my flexible nature and adaptibility.
